Food chain role considered in WHO’s COVID-19 origin report

Introduction of the novel coronavirus through food chain products has been judged a possible pathway, according to a report on how COVID-19 spread to humans. A group of international scientists assembled by the World Health Organization (WHO) went to Wuhan, China where the first cases of the novel coronavirus were reported at the end of 2019.
