Farmer expects 'sleepless nights' as growers calculate crop damage caused by cold

 Apple growers cross their fingers as they assess the damage caused by recent sub-freezing overnight temperatures. "You know it'll take us, again, a few more days to assess what this damage has been," says Henderson County Extension Director Dr. Terry Kelley. "And then we get a few more weeks of potentially cold whether that could cause some more events, so we'll have to see what that brings."
