NC bill to legalize medical marijuana now has key supporter

A key state senator filed legislation Wednesday to legalize medical marijuana for a range of debilitating conditions. Senate Bill 711 lays out a new regulatory structure for medical cannabis that would let doctors prescribe it for cancer, epilepsy, glaucoma, AIDS, Crohn's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis and other comparable debilitating conditions.
