U.S. corn planting moves ahead of its average pace in the second week of the USDA Crop Progress Report. As of Sunday, the U.S. had 4% of the corn crop planted, slightly above the 3% five-year average. Next week, the USDA plans to include soybean planting progress in its weekly update.
