Online attendees can get a first-hand look at a commercial-scale, indoor salad farm in Hendersonville, N.C., to celebrate a grand opening. Irvington, N.Y.-based BrightFarms will host the event on the video chat platform, Zoom, May 7, according to a news release. The event is open to the public. The new greenhouse adds to BrightFarms’ network of local, sustainable hydroponic greenhouse farms serving local markets including Charlotte, N.C.; Winston-Salem, N.C; Greenville, S.C.; Spartanburg, S.C.; and Atlanta, Ga.
