Nearly four full months late, the U.S. Census Bureau announced apportionment totals Monday that will drive the next round of redistricting. Here are some initial thoughts on the process and the fight for the House:
House majority still in play
The House majority was in play before the reapportionment announcement and it’s in play after the reapportionment announcement. House Republicans need a net gain of just 5 seats in 2022 to retake the chamber.
