Culp Inc., in conjunction with fiber company Unifi, has helped divert more than 63 million plastic bottles from waste streams since it started producing its LiveSmart Evolve fabric line two years ago. The fabric is made with at least 30% or more of Repreve yarn, a high-quality polyester yarn made by North Carolina-based Unifi from recycled post-consumer plastic bottles.
