With corn planting nearly complete and commodity prices historically strong, growers are keeping a close eye on emergence. Seeing thin stands or uneven plant heights can raise anxiety levels. The root of the problem could be corn nematodes, a parasitic worm that causes significant yield loss by damaging roots and creating entry points for pathogens.
