Bayer says judge’s ruling won’t affect Roundup availability for farmers

In response to a U.S. judge’s rejection of Bayer’s $2 billion class-action proposal, the company announced a five-point plan late Wednesday to address future claims. In addition, Bayer addressed concerns of row-crop farmers who use Roundup (glyphosate) for weed control. The company says the decision will have no impact on the agricultural marketplace or Bayer’s commitment to Roundup or Roundup Ready for its farmer and retailer customers.
