As the U.S. pork industry continues its quest to protect our country from potentially devastating foreign animal diseases that are ravaging livestock populations in other parts of the globe, U.S. pig farmers are being encouraged to create an AgView account, as part of their pathway of protection and a line of preparedness. Dr. Patrick Webb, director of swine health for the National Pork Board, explains how animal health officials would use the new AgView tool in the event of a foreign animal disease outbreak.
