The North Carolina AgroMedicine Institute has cost share funds for migrant housing internet connectivity, transportation & sanitation equipment/supplies, personal protective equipment (PPE) for pesticide application and counseling sessions for farmers, farm family members and farmworkers who are un/under-insured.. The first two are set up to reimburse farms for expenditures. PPE is available through the Institute at 50% of STATE contract rate. For counseling services, we work with the individual to identify a counselor if they don’t already have one and then we pay the counselor directly for services. Find out more by clicking links below
