Recreational and commercial fishermen may soon no longer be able to use nets to haul in fish. Some said this push to stop inlet net fishing could lead to higher fish prices for businesses and customers. Legislators said this push to ban net fishing in coastal waters is aimed at preserving the fish supply but, fisherman and business owners said this will only hurt the industry and not provide many benefits to supply.
