The Farm Credits of NC are once again offering our Ag Biz Basics and Ag Biz Planner courses. These courses offer a great educational resource for young, beginning, small, and veteran farmers who are just getting started with their farming operation.

It can feel overwhelming when starting a farming operation. We understand the unique needs of young, beginning, and small farmers. Our educational programs are designed to help farmers develop strong business principles to last a lifetime. 

Ag Biz Basics
Our Ag Biz Basics course is a fast-paced online program designed to help participants develop an understanding of basic financial statements, credit scores, cash flow sheets, and their impact on a farm. The course time commitment is approximately 3 months. 

Ag Biz Planner
Our Ag Biz Planner Course is designed to help participants develop a successful farm business plan, strengthen communication, and increase knowledge of the marketplace. The course time commitment is approximately 6 months and it is required that course participants complete a business plan for their farm.
