Our state’s farmers markets are unique destinations where we get to know the community’s farmers and shop for local produce, protein and value-added agriculture products. The Farmers Market Coalition works nationally to help grow and support the farmers market industry and especially the farmers market operators — the market managers, staff, or volunteers that organize and run the farmers market for their community week after week. These valuable folks behind-the-scenes have a lot to juggle on a regular basis.
