Gov. Roy Cooper called on businesses Thursday to get involved in the coronavirus vaccination efforts. Cooper said he wants businesses to verify vaccinations. But some businesses have taken it a step further and required employees to get the vaccine. Aside from a couple of exceptions, federal and state law allow private businesses to required COVID-19 vaccination, according to two Raleigh attorneys.
