Custom meat processing now available in Haywood

At a newly opened custom meat packing business in the Crabtree community, four generations of the Wade family keep the place humming as they provide a vital link in the food chain. The idea for the plant was hatched as both Darren and Karen Wade were contemplating a post-retirement way to keep busy, she from a personnel job at Haywood Community College and he from the N.C. Wildlife Commission.
