One of our valued summer employees must suddenly leave our program for another opportunity and we have to replace him quickly! We are heading into our harvest season and we need another team member!! $17/hour! 30 to 40 hours per week! Apply through the NC State Jobs site. Here is a direct link to the position.

You would be working in our field trials on hemp, heirloom tomatoes (organic and conventional), hops, broccoli, truffles, and woodland botanicals. We are ready to start harvesting tomatoes, hops, ginseng, black cohosh, and goldenseal and could really use your help. Our studies are located on research stations in Mills River, Waynesville, and Salisbury with on-farm trials in Henderson, Buncombe, Chatham, and Davie counties. Our “home base” is the Mountain Horticultural Crops Research and Extension Center in Mills River right next to the Sierra Nevada Brewery and the Asheville airport.
