Cooper to Biden: Key to cleaner, more-affordable energy lies in farm fields not oil fields

The leader of the Renewable Fuels Association asked President Joe Biden to boost ethanol production in response to rising gasoline prices, days after the administration called on OPEC-plus nations to boost oil production. In a letter sent to Biden on Friday, RFA President and CEO Geoff Cooper said while the group agreed with calls by the administration to investigate the causes of higher prices at the pump, the RFA was disappointed to see Biden turn to OPEC for help.
