 North Carolina Agriculture Secretary Steve Troxler got a first-hand look at flood-damaged farms in Henderson County on Thursday afternoon. During a tour of the area, Troxler said there are several steps toward getting aid from the state and federal governments. "First is getting a presidential or secretarial disaster, so that federal disaster funds kick in. So, what I'm asking is everybody at the farm level to report your losses to FSA as quickly as you can so we can start that process," Troxler said.
