Ida prompts Colonial Pipeline to shut down two fuel lines

Colonial Pipeline closed off two fuel lines in the south because of Hurricane Ida, which made landfall in Louisiana as a Category 4 storm. The company said the shut down was temporary and a "precautionary and routine safety measure," and gas is expected to still be available at stations across the southeast. Oil production on the gulf has also been put on pause because of Hurricane Ida. More than 95% of the Gulf of Mexico's oil production facilities have been shut down, regulators said Sunday.
