Alignment Health Care began vaccinating patients against the flu before summer had ended. Health care providers have done about 50 in-home visits in just the last two weeks. Laurence Eisen, from Apex, is 87, and he’s getting his flu shot early this year. “When the doctor says I need to do this, I listen,” Eisen said. Dr. Adam Wolk, senior medical officer for Alignment Health Care, says it’s especially important this year that people get their flu vaccine as early as possible.
