The move-in at the new Steve Troxler Agricultural Sciences Center is now complete. So, the settling in is well underway.

All or part of four NCDA&CS divisions now call the 225,000-square-foot building home. It contains offices and labs for the Food and Drug Protection, Standards, Structural Pest Control and Pesticides, and Veterinary divisions. (The Veterinary Division is the only division in the building that still has offices elsewhere also.) Here’s a list of what’s moved into the new building:
1. Food and Drug Protection offices and labs previously in the Constable Laboratory at 57 Reedy Creek Road in west Raleigh. (Read more about all the lab work within the division on the division’s lab webpage at http://www.ncagr.gov/fooddrug/labprog.htm)
2. Standards offices and labs

• Motor Fuels Laboratory previously at 1400 Western Blvd. in southwest Raleigh. (Now called the Fuel Quality Lab)

3. Structural Pest Control and Pesticides offices previously in the L.Y. Ballentine Building at 2109 Blue Ridge Rd. in west Raleigh. (Lab work done by the Food & Drug Protection division labs.)
4. Veterinary’s Rollins Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory previously at 2101 Blue Ridge Rd. in west Raleigh.
