 Western North Carolina is well known as the Christmas tree capital. But even here, a shortage will impact folks in search of the perfect Christmas tree. "For people who don't go out early and don't start looking early for a Christmas tree, they're just not gonna get 'em," said Darren Nicholson, of Boyd Mountain Christmas Tree Farm.
