White House Christmas tree chosen from North Carolina for first time since 2018

 For a Christmas tree farm in Ashe County, the coming holiday season meant a meeting with White House staff. According to a Facebook post by the North Carolina Christmas Tree Association, White House staff were at Peak Farms in Jefferson on Wednesday to pick out a Fraser fir to display in the White House Blue Room.
