A woman well-known in the Wilmington area as a founding partner of Lewis Nursery and Farms, Beth Lewis Williams, died Oct. 19 at the age of 70. Williams grew up picking berries and helping on the farm in a variety of ways and was known as the fastest blueberry packer in the family. Her younger brother Cal Lewis, said, “As a little girl she picked and packed strawberries and blueberries and did all of the farm work that we needed to do as family farm.
