Members of Congress from both parties are coalescing around ways to increase the number of commercial truck drivers with the shortage of truck drivers viewed as one of the major problems facing supply chains that has backlogged nearly every industry. Executives from across the agricultural and food supply chains on Wednesday highlighted a litany of challenges finding and physically getting those products or trying to ship their own products.
