Corn Silage for Dairy and Beef Producers workshops in December

Corn silage is major staple of the dairy cattle ration and an excellent supplement to grazing beef cattle. Join us in December to learn more about making the best silage decisions for your herd.

December 7, 2021 – N.C. Cooperative Extension of Iredell County office (444 Bristol Dr, Statesville, NC). RSVP by phone: 704-873-0507

The program starts at 9 a.m. and will feature speakers from John Deere, Syngenta, Alltech, and NC State Extension. Topics will include precision management of nutrients, seed and variety selection, maximizing forage for feed, and more. 

These meetings are approved for 3 credit hours towards Waste Applicator Certification.
