Nineteen agricultural associations CEOs joined forces today asking President Biden to make needed improvements to our nation’s transportation, labor, and regulatory policies that could address critical shortages within the agricultural supply chain. The primary focus of the letter was a call for changes that could expand available transportation capacities. The letter did include several CropLife priorities—such as the need to streamline ingredient substitutions and a call to fast track amendments to a product’s Confidential Statement of Formula. The letter was also shared with Secretaries Vilsack (USDA), Raimondo (Commerce), and Buttigieg (Transportation) who are co-chairing the President’s Supply Chain Task Force
