Hemp, Inc. (OTC PINK: HEMP), one of the global leaders on the forefront of the industrial hemp industry, reports today that House lawmakers introduced the CBD Product Safety and Standardization Act, last week, that will “establish federal standards for CBD food and beverage products in order to protect consumers and provide marketplace stability for farmers and retailers”. The Bill would require the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to develop regulations for food and beverages containing hemp-derived CBD and allow for their interstate commerce.
