I’m sharing below summaries of three very serious incidents of human trafficking, wage theft, and unsafe working conditions involving H-2A seasonal agricultural guestworkers that recently became public. It’s easy to dismiss these cases as “extreme” or “rare” and to think you would obviously know if this was happening with your suppliers… or your FLCs… or your suppliers' FLCs... or the FLCs' recruiters… or the recruiters' subcontractors. But then again it's kind of complicated right?
