For a few political candidates in North Carolina, a delay in the primary elections was welcome news. It offered more time to boost their name recognition and potentially improve their chances of winning. For most candidates, though, changes to election dates present a small new challenge: Can they be flexible enough with their schedules to adapt to a new election date and efficient enough with their money to get the most out of their resources?
