A Year of Broken Promises
It has been a year since President Biden was inaugurated as our nation's 46th President. Instead of working to rebuild our nation after the effects of a devastating pandemic, Biden has spent his first year wasting trillions of taxpayer dollars pursuing a far-left agenda and reckless policies that harm the American people. Whether it be COVID surge after COVID surge, the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, skyrocketing inflation, rising prices, or the worsening border crisis, we have experienced a year full of crises and broken promises. This is not what the American people need or deserve.
Over the past year, the American people have noticed President Biden’s mistakes and poor leadership. They are seeing first-hand that instead of fulfilling his promises to the American people, the President is failing them. Literally. According to the latest a Politico/Morning Consult poll, more voters gave Biden an “F” for his first year as president than those who awarded him an "A" or "B" combined. The American people deserve better.
Leading a Roundtable on the Economy
After a year of reckless spending by the Democrats, Americans are experiencing skyrocketing inflation and a crippling supply chain crisis. On Wednesday, I led a roundtable conversation with House Republican Whip Steve Scalise and other House Republicans to discuss the Biden Administration’s failures on the economy that have caused these problems. Protecting the Unborn
Since the Supreme Court passed down their tragic decision in Roe v. Wade forty-nine years ago, Americans from all walks of life have come together to protect and defend the sanctity of human life. I am honored to be a part of this valiant community committed to protecting the unborn and standing up against the tragedy of abortion. I am always proud to stand with pro-life Americans as we keep our promise to protect the lives of those who cannot defend themselves.
Again this year, I am honored to have earned an A+ on the Susan B. Anthony List Pro-Life Scorecard. This scorecard tracks my legislative record on abortion and in the fight to protect unborn children and their mothers. I am proud to be pro-life and I will always work to prevent American's taxpayer dollars from being used to fund abortion.
