 House Agriculture Committee Chairman David Scott announced the following promotions for the Democratic staff of the House Agriculture Committee:

Emily Pliscott will serve as a Policy Analyst. She previously served as Dairy Policy Assistant. Pliscott earned her M.S. in Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Missouri, Columbia. Prior to joining the committee, she interned with the Food and Agriculture Organization and National Farmers Union.

Victoria Maloch will serve as Deputy Communications Director for the Committee. Maloch currently serves as a Legislative Assistant for the Subcommittee on Commodity Exchanges, Energy, and Credit and the Subcommittee on Biotechnology, Horticulture, and Research. Along with her new role, she will continue her policy work with the Subcommittee on Commodity Exchanges, Energy, and Credit. Maloch is originally from Emerson, AR and grew up on her family’s cattle farm.
