Winston-Salem firefighters said conditions did not improve overnight as a massive, long-burning fertilizer plant fire burns on Wednesday morning. "The possibility of an explosion has not gone down from yesterday," officials said during a 4:30 a.m. press conference. Crews are continuing to keep a close eye on the fire at Winston Weaver Co., burning since Sunday evening, that experts say has the potential to cause "the largest explosion in U.S. history."
