Wake County commissioners on Monday agreed to use funds from a bond to help preserve a 200-year-old sheep farm in Zebulon. In a news release distributed Tuesday, the county announced plans for $350,000, with $281,000 from bond funds, for the 86-acre Lazy J Ranch. “Wake County is growing rapidly, and that’s why protecting farmland and open space is so very important to this board,” Commissioner Vickie Adamson said in a news release.
