The Cattle Price Discovery and Transparency Act is now on its third revision as the senators who authored the bill released a new version on Monday. Sens. Jon Tester, D-Mont., Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, Deb Fischer, R-Neb., and Ron Wyden, D-Ore., on Monday released the Cattle Price Discovery and Transparency Act of 2022. The bill would still set minimum volumes of cash trade for packers in five to seven regions around the country.
