A new contagion is gaining traction in nested localities across America, as thousands of commercial chickens and turkeys are being lost to a new strain of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI). According to experts, the US is facing the deadliest bird flu outbreak in 7 years. More than 23 million chickens and turkeys have already been killed.
