House Agriculture Committee Chairman David Scott issued the following statement regarding today’s announcement from President Biden to expand sales of E15 this summer:

“Today’s announcement from President Biden will have a great impact as we push to lower gas prices and stabilize energy costs for our American people in both urban and rural communities,” said Chairman David Scott.

“This choice and flexibility will allow consumers to pay less at the pump, burn a cleaner fuel, and reduce America’s reliance on foreign oil. Our House Agriculture Committee will continue to look at how agriculture can play a larger role in renewable energy production and development as we look toward the upcoming 2023 Farm Bill.”  Chairman David Scott continued.
