NC State hosting Southeast Value-Added Dairy Conference in July

The third annual Southeast Value-Added Dairy Conference will be held in Raleigh, North Carolina on July 13 & 14. The event is expected to bring individuals together from across the Southeast including dairy industry stakeholders, farmers, Extension professionals, dairy buyers, and other members of the community. On day one of the conference, speakers will cover a wide array of topics including product development, innovations in packaging, new cheese marketing trends, and food safety audits required for selling to retailers. On the second day, participants will have the opportunity to tour a local producer-processor dairy and visit the NC State dairy farm and creamery, Howling Cow. Hotel and registration information will be available soon on the conference website.
