Chyi Lyi (Kathleen) Liang has been appointed as a senior fellow with the National Center for Food and Agricultural Policy (www.NCFAP.org), a Washington-based not-for-profit group that organizes and conducts research, analyses, professional development or education projects to inform the public about food, agriculture, natural resources, environmental quality, and rural economics. Liang will join a group of 20 fellows, providing advice to chief officers to shape the nation’s food and agricultural policies.
“It is an honor to join this cohort,” Liang said. “I have worked with many colleagues across the country to study policy effects, implications, tradeoffs and new potential policies in the U.S. agriculture and food systems. Many senior fellows are national and international leaders in agricultural and food policy analysts.”
