U.S. fresh apples in storage on June 1 were up 15.9% compared with the same time last year, according to the latest USAppleTracker survey from the U.S. Apple Association. The survey said fresh apple holdings on June 1 totaled 32.1-million-bushel cartons, 15.9% more than the inventories reported for last June. Processing apple holdings totaled 12.3 million bushels, 1% less than last year on June 1.
