There are two new faces at the Edgecombe County Extension Office this summer — one for a limited time and the other on a long-term basis. Anna Brown, a junior agriculture education major at the University of Mount Olive, is serving as an intern as part of the N.C. State intern program, while Missy Jernigan came on board on April 1 as the 4-H program assistant, working with 4-H youth development. County Extension Agent Tanya Heath said she is happy to have them both.
