Republican Morrisville Town Councilman Tom Murray has announced his candidacy for the House District 41 seat in Wake County. “I have decided to run because the people in western Wake County, and across North Carolina, are ready for conservative leaders with a proven record of focusing on what will help our local businesses create jobs and improve the quality of life for our citizens and families," Murray said in a statement. The seat is currently held by Democratic Rep. Chris Heagarty, who was appointed to it last year after the resignation of Ty Harrell.
