Clayton Mayor Jody McLeod has announced plans to run for the legislative seat held by Republican Sen. David Rouzer. “As a Main Street, small business owner, I understand the difficult times faced by the middle class and working families throughout Johnston and Wayne counties,” said McLeod, a Democrat who is serving his second term as mayor.
