Cotton an option on wheat land

Cotton and wheat aren’t typical bedfellows in the upper Southeast, but record rain and cold weather caused much of the 2009-2010 wheat crop to become a cover crop, leaving late planted cotton as one option for cropping land that is traditionally limited to a wheat/soybean double crop.
