N.C. tobacco growers get new insecticide for budworm

When challenged by budworm, N.C. tobacco growers now have a new insecticide at their disposal, reports N.C. State University entomologist Hannah Burrack. Coragen insecticide (Rynaxypyr or chloran-traniliprole) from DuPont has recently been registered for use in tobacco in North Carolina.
