The Agricultural Development and Farmland Preservation Trust Fund Advisory Committee will meet by conference call at 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 2.

Members of the public can listen to the call by coming to the Hall of Fame Room at the Agriculture Building, 2 W. Edenton St.

The committee will hear an update on projects that the trust fund intends to fund this year.

The ADFP Trust Fund Advisory Committee advises Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler on the prioritization and allocation of money from the trust fund, program planning, and other areas for the growth and development of family farms in North Carolina. Members include farmers and representatives of agricultural organizations, state agencies and universities. More information is available at www.ncadfp.org.
