OSHA meetings to focus on injury and illness prevention

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced a series of stakeholder meetings about injury and illness prevention programs.

Information from the meetings will be used "to develop a rule that will help employers reduce workplace injuries and illnesses through a systematic process that proactively addresses workplace safety and health hazards," according to a May 4 Federal Register notice.

The meetings will be held June 3 in East Brunswick, N.J.; June 10 in Dallas; and June 29 in Washington. For more information, including how to complete the required advanced registration for the meetings, click here.
