Editorial - Arizona's legislation not the way to deal with immigration problem

Arizona's hotly debated immigration law was born partly of frustration with the federal government's inability and apparent unwillingness to secure the border with Mexico. But it also was born of fear, resentment and political opportunism – a combination that makes for bad public policy. North Carolina should not copy it.
