Drought, GMO varieties contribute to low bollworm damage in cotton

A recent survey of 26 cotton fields in Northampton County reported no bollworm damage in 12 WideStrike and 9 Bollgard II fields, notes N.C. State University Extension entomologist Jack Bacheler.
